Supporting local students at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Mansfield will benefit from a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government, with new funding to deliver $1.7 million to upgrade facilities at the primary school.

State Liberal Member for Eildon, Cindy McLeish said, “This funding will make a huge difference to the students and staff at St Mary’s Primary school.”

Funding will allow the school to achieve the Master Plan. This will see new learning areas, architecture, interior and landscape design, new sheltered play spaces and repairs and upgrades of worn infrastructure.

Ms McLeish continues, “The Liberals and Nationals’ plan will provide $700 million to upgrade existing and build new Catholic and Independent schools across Victoria over the next four years.”

“This commitment acknowledges the important role non-government schools play in educating and supporting students.”

“Non-government schools are a rapidly growing sector that deliver considerable benefits to local communities and deserve to be supported.”

This important commitment will mean better facilities for hundreds of thousands of students and provide much-needed certainty for school communities across Victoria.

“The Liberals and Nationals are committed to supporting our students by delivering the facilities they need, to develop and learn.”
