Liberals support Hoddles Creek CFA station development

The Liberals have committed $1,500,000 to undertake the much needed rebuild of the Hoddles Creek CFA station.

The current Hoddles Creek CFA Station is one of the oldest in the Yarra Valley. It is riddled with asbestos in the walls and flooring and has not met the needs of a modern brigade for a considerable period. There is limited space available at the current station, forcing the brigade to store equipment at four different building locations.

The new station development will be built on secured adjoining VicRoads land acquired by Hoddles Creek CFA Brigade several years ago. It will include a three-bay station, modern facilities and changerooms, and ample storage space.

State Liberal Member for Eildon, Cindy McLeish said that Hoddles Creek CFA Brigade members have been waiting for years for this rebuild to finally take place.

“This has been an ongoing project for the Hoddles Creek CFA. They should not be forced to wait as long as they have.”

“This investment by the Liberals and Nationals backs our CFA.”

“Only a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will deliver the Hoddles Creek CFA Brigade and surrounding community with a new and improved station that they need and deserve.”
